A review checklist for recording usage scope before creator content is reused, edited, exported, or considered for paid use.
Record the scope, not just a yes or no

Owner and source
Identify the creator, the reviewed deliverable, its source, and the person recording the decision.

Allowed use
Separate organic reposting, website use, email use, editing, derivative work, and paid media.

Channels and territory
List approved channels and markets; do not infer global rights from one channel approval.

Duration and expiry
Record start, end, renewal, removal, and archive expectations.

Third-party elements
Review music, people, locations, logos, product claims, and other material the creator may not fully control.

Paid use gate
Paid amplification needs explicit paid-use scope and a separate approval. Organic rights do not make an asset ad-ready.
